IABC Houston is excited to be part of the Schipul Tendenci 5 upgrade for our website. Tendenci is a website content management software written specifically for non-profit organizations.

The benefits of going to the level 5 upgrade are that it allows for, most importantly, responsive design wherein the site will be optimized for laptop, net book, tablet and mobile. In addition, Tendenci 5 provides better user interaction, search, video upload and cross browser support. Bottom line: we have to move to this next level. It’s the future.

Coming soon will be a more intuitive event registration process, closer to what we had before; and a restoration of the search capability available to our member users. The Schipul staff continues to work closely with the IABC Houston Board to enable this transition to work as smoothly as possible. 

However, this is complicated work, complete with growing pains. Over the next few months, we all are going to encounter various issues. Please be patient with the process and bring us your concerns as soon as they arise.
