Details for "Leadership Communication: Establishing the Communication Needs of Senior-Level Managers"
Communication consultants and corporate communicators know well that communicating effectively is necessary for a manager to move into a leadership position. Without effective communication, a manager is not an effective leader and accomplishes little. Good communication skills enable, foster, and create the understanding and trust necessary to encourage others to follow.
This presentation focuses on defining what senior managers need to communicate with impact and effectiveness in today's business environment and explores how we, as consultants and corporate communicators, can help them get there. Dr. Barrett will explain the central concept of her book, Leadership Communication, and discuss how this original framework can be used to map out the levels of communication ability business leaders need.
