Event Description
Businesses are learning to leverage Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media applications to expose brands to a larger audience, connect with customers and prospects, and even close new business. How are they doing it and how can you immediately begin using these tools in marketing and communications efforts? Scott H. Cytron, ABC, offers his insight on how several of his clients use social media to achieve objectives and long-term results.

Registration Deadlines: The lower-price early registration deadline is midnight on Monday before the Thursday event. The final registration deadline is midnight on Wednesday before the event. Online reservations and credit card payments will not be accepted after that time; please pay with check or cash at the door. Because we must order meals Tuesday morning, cancellations cannot be accepted after midnight on Monday.
Space is sometimes available for walk-in attendees. Payment by cash or a check made out to IABC/Houston will be accepted at the door. Credit card payments are accepted only for online reservations.
If you register online but prefer to pay by cash or check at the door, complete the online registration and click the "Pay At Event" button on the electronic invoice screen. This will confirm your registration and pricing.
Special Meal Needs: Please notify us when you register by putting "vegetarian," "shellfish allergy" or similar notation in "Optional comments" box at bottom of registration screen. Please limit requests to necessities.
Table Reservations: A table registration is for eight individuals. You must reserve and pay for all eight seats when you register. After completing the billing information and your own seat reservation, click "Submit Registration." Click the pencil icon in the box for "Registrant 1" to open the form; enter the next registrant; click "Update and Continue" at lower right; then click pencil icon in the next box and enter the next name, etc. After entering all registrants, click Submit.

Biography
Scott H. Cytron is president of Cytron and Company, a consultancy specializing in public relations, marketing and communications activities for clients in professional services (accounting, health care, financial planning, legal) and B2B products/services. Scott has served IABC in a number of leadership positions at the local, district and international levels. He was a member of the International Executive Board from 2004-2008, and served as treasurer in 2006 and 2007. He was president of the 330-member Dallas chapter in 2000, chair of District 5 in 2001, and a former director of Portfolios for the International Accreditation Board.
