Speaker Julie Freeman, ABC, APR

Position: President
Company: IABC

Event Description

The citizens of Iran used Twitter to organize protests about the recent election; and people all over the world used text messages, Twitter and Facebook to talk about Michael Jackson's death. Clearly, it is not just "techies" who are using social media today. Business communicators often ask how they can use these tools to inform and engage employees and other stakeholders.

Find out from Julie Freeman, ABC, APR, how IABC is using social media to communicate with members, non-members and the media. IABC's experiences as well as the experiences of other attendees can help you make decisions about which tools your organization should be using.
