Registration Deadlines: The lower-price early registration deadline is midnight on Monday before the Thursday event. The final registration deadline is noon on Wednesday before the event. Online reservations and credit card payments will not be accepted after that time; please pay with check or cash at the door. Because we must order meals Tuesday morning, cancellations cannot be accepted after midnight on Monday. No Shows the day of the event will be billed.
Space is sometimes available for walk-in attendees. Payment by cash or a check made out to IABC/Houston will be accepted at the door. Credit card payments are accepted only for online reservations.
If you register online but prefer to pay by cash or check at the door, complete the online registration and click the "Pay At Event" button on the electronic invoice screen. This will confirm your registration and pricing.
Special Meal Needs: Please notify us when you register by putting "vegetarian," "shellfish allergy" or similar notation in "Optional comments" box at bottom of registration screen. Please limit requests to necessities.
Table Reservations: A table registration is for eight individuals. You must reserve and pay for all eight seats when you register. After completing the billing information and your own seat reservation, click "Submit Registration." Click the pencil icon in the box for "Registrant 1" to open the form; enter the next registrant; click "Update and Continue" at lower right; then click pencil icon in the next box and enter the next name, etc. After entering all registrants, click Submit.

Biography
Kate Rogers began her 12-year career with H-E-B as host and producer of the company's live, interactive distance learning program known as TeleVentures. In 1998, she moved to Austin to become the Director of Public Affairs for the Central Texas Region where she acted as the community liaison and corporate contributions director and oversaw media and governmental relations for 64 stores.
During her time in Austin, she was very active in several organizations and served on a variety of boards including the Texas Fine Arts Association (Treasurer), the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce (Workforce and Education Co-Chair), the Capital Area Workforce Development Board (Childcare Committee Chair), the Austin Library Foundation and the Austin Symphony Orchestra. She moved back to San Antonio in 2004 to lead H-E-B’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.
At the end of 2005, Kate became the corporate Director of Advertising, supervising H-E-B’s internal creative, production and account service teams and managing the company’s external agency partners. In the Fall of 2009, she transitioned into her current role as Director of Partner Communications and Culture. Her team manages the company’s brand new web portal, PartnerNet, the administration of the annual engagement survey, Partner recognition, internal media and corporate communications.
In 2002, Kate was the recipient of the Austin Business Journal’s Profiles in Power Leadership Award and in 2006, she was awarded Ford’s Salute to Education Award for her work in creating the H-E-B Excellence in Education Awards, the largest monetary awards program in the state honoring outstanding public school teachers, principals and districts. She currently serves on the Boards of the Witte Museum and KLRN Public Television.
