Project showcases:
Dustin Wenzel and Brian Cain played integral roles in the development of Anadarko Petroleum’s ASPIRE Online, the company’s annual online magazine delivering the story of Anadarko’s worldwide portfolio and people to the company's employees, investment community and other stakeholders.
 
Keystone Resources utilized a combination of simple techniques to create a powerful direct mail piece, which was featured on FoldFactory.com and their YouTube channel as the 60-second Super-Cool Fold of the Week #90.

Valet Parking is included in the luncheon price. Bring your valet ticket upstairs so we can validate it for you.

Registration Deadlines: The lower-price early registration deadline is 11:45PM on Monday before the Thursday event. The final registration deadline is 5pm on Wednesday before the event. Online reservations and credit card payments will not be accepted after that time; please pay with check or cash at the door. Because we must order meals Tuesday morning, cancellations cannot be accepted after midnight on Monday. No shows will be billed.

Space is sometimes available for walk-in attendees. Payment by cash or a check made out to IABC/Houston will be accepted at the door. Credit card payments are accepted only for online reservations.

If you register online but prefer to pay by cash or check at the door, complete the online registration and click the "Pay At Event" button on the electronic invoice screen. This will confirm your registration and pricing.

Special Meal Needs: We can accommodate attendees who need a vegetarian meal or have a shellfish allergy. Please make a notation in the "Optional comments" box at bottom of registration screen. We are unable to accommodate any other special meal requests.

Table Reservations: A table registration is for eight individuals. You must reserve and pay for all eight seats when you register. After completing the billing information and your own seat reservation, click Submit Registration. Click the pencil icon in the box for Registrant 1 to open the form; enter the next registrant; click Update and Continue at lower right; then click pencil icon in the next box and enter the next name, etc. After entering all registrants, click Submit.

Biography

About Julie Irvin

Julie Marie Irvin is an accomplished consultant and presenter specializing in design strategy and proposal management. She is president and founder of Keystone Resources, an award winning marketing and communications agency based in Houston, Texas. 

Prior to forming Keystone in 2002, she held positions as the Strategic Marketing and Training Director for EPT Management Company, a Presentation Specialist for Walt Disney World and an Account Executive for Mix 96.5FM. 

Julie’s contributions and efforts have recently garnered many accolades:  2011 WBE Advocate of the Year; Supplier of the Year, under $1 Million by the WBEA in 2010 and 2011.  Houston Business Journal listed Keystone Resources as one of HBJ’s 2010 Top 50 Fastest-Growing, Woman-Owned Businesses and 2011 Largest Houston-Area Graphic Design Firms. 

 

About Brian Cain

Brian is a Senior Staff Public Affairs Representative and Dustin Wenzel is a Staff Communications Specialist for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. Cain and Wenzel are integral team members of Anadarko’s 20-member team that handles internal and external communications, community relations and graphics. Their team’s annual online publication, ASPIRE Online, was awarded the Best in Division in 2011 and a finalist for the award in 2010. Anadarko is one of the world’s largest independent oil and natural gas companies and was recognized as Houston’s Top Workplace in 2010 and 2011, as named by the Houston Chronicle.

 

About Dustin Wenzel

Dustin  has served as Staff Communications Specialist for Anadarko’s Design & Communication team since 2007, where he serves as a writer for projects in graphics communication, community relations and internal communication. Prior to joining Anadarko, he served as a news and sports editor for Houston Community Newspapers (Katy Sun) and the Katy Courier, and a sports writer for the Victoria Advocate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin.
 
Brian and Dustin played integral roles in the development of Anadarko’s ASPIRE Online, the company’s annual online magazine delivering the story of Anadarko’s worldwide portfolio and people to its employees, the investment community and other Anadarko stakeholders. The publication uses the Adobe Flip software to deliver Flash components, video clips and other multimedia elements to deliver each story in an innovative fashion.
