Senior Account Manager

Public Relations Job Description

The Senior Account Manager is an experienced professional who leads client accounts and manages team members. This position is also in training to become a future Account Service Director.

Required Experience:

· Minimum of 8 years marketing and communications experience. Time spent at a marketing or PR firm is a must!

Position Level: Manager

Position Reports To: Account Service Director

Employment Salary From: 69,000.00 to 85,000.00

o Management -- supervision, client relations, project management, time management, understanding of daily operations of a marketing firm

o Marketing – strong knowledge of marketing strategy and the tools used to support marketing communications and branding campaigns (i.e. media relations, advertising, collateral, events, Internet, grass-roots, etc.); creativity; writing (including Associated Press style format)

o Other – sales pitching

This Job Requires the Following Computer Skills:

o Computer – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

Education Required:

College graduate, with a degree in communications or marketing
